Beautiful and rare Rhodochrosite from Argentina.
The majority of Rhodochrosite is found in Argentina, where it formed in the Inca silver mines, after they were abandoned in the thirteenth century. However Rhodochrosite specimens have also been found in Colorado in the Sweet Home mine and other nearby localities.
