Lenormand is a tradition dating back to the French card reader Marie Anne Lenormand (1772–1843). A Lenormand deck contains relatively few cards with simple, clear symbols. However, you lay out more cards in a reading, and the combination and sequence of the cards create deeper and more nuanced meanings.
The included guidebook offers a thorough introduction to this unique and slightly different method of card reading.
Traditionally, a Lenormand deck consists of 36 cards. In this beautiful set, 11 extra cards are included, which you can choose to use or leave out depending on your personal preference.
