Morning Star Gardenia incense is produced by the renowned Japanese incense specialists, Nippon Kodo.
Gardenia is an evergreen flowering shrub that comes from the Rubiaceae plant family and is native to tropical and subtropical parts of the world. The pure gardenia fragrance found in the Morning Star incense is sourced from the gardenia flowers, which can be highly scented.
The gardenia incense produces a sweet, aromatic and floral scent that’s gentle rather than overpowering.
Like the other incense in the Morning Star range, the Gardenia incense sticks can successfully be combined with other incense fragrances to create your own home scent.

Incense has been used for centuries as a method of cleansing, to help with meditation, and to surround your space with a beautiful scent that is free from harsh chemicals and additives. To use incense, place it in an appropriate incense holder (or something that is heat proof) and simply light the tip. Once a flame appears, gently blow it out so that it is left to slowly burn. Some people are sensitive to some scents or the smoke that is released, even though it is very minimal. If this happens, just place your holder on a higher shelf.
